I bought the one from Stew mac, tried it and now I am not using it anymore. I cant seem to get any good pressure. lars |

My shopmade clamp is pretty much the same .. two bolts thru the two E string holes, plus a bolt/caul for the bridge wings. You shouldnt need much clamping pressure .. the bridge/top joint should be tight with minimal finger pressure, and then the clamp adds a bit more, and its done. |

Seen this a few years ago by Mr. Fox the jig man and made my own .Works like a charm and would not glue a bridge on any other way. |

You might want to check with John Hall. I thought I read some where he had made a few of that type that were pretty nicly made. I'm not sure if he has any now. |
